Aventura is a planned city located in northeastern Miami-Dade County, Florida. The city name is from the Spanish word for “adventure,” and was named “Aventura” because that was the name of the original group of condominium developments in the area. The name predates the well known mall (Aventura Mall) built near the condominium developments. According to the U.S Census estimates of 2006, the city had a population of 30,027. View Photos

Kosher Kingdom is a bustling kosher market located at 3017 Aventura Boulevard in the heart of Aventura. Time your visits well - on Fridays the narrow aisles are all but impassable with those anxious to complete their Shabbos shopping as early as possible. Arrive too late and you’ll miss the Anny’s challah, a local favorite, in either unadorned, raisin or their signature chocolate chip. The market offers a nice selection of cholov yisreal products. You won’t find these items generally at Pubix or Fesh Market, if ever, while in kosher friendly Aventura, you might be able to otherwise complete your grocery shopping at those chains and check out with a kosher basket, complete with Aaron’s chicken.
